9x12 Plein air: I had hoped to finish this back at The House we were renting in Ipswich...a 3-Mast sailing ship came in as we were getting ready to stop for the morning. I took a bunch of photos... One does need to get the rigging right on boats of that type. Such a challenge! An engineer from a large fishing boat took the time to speak with us:
"50 years ago the fishing fleet was iron and wood--the men were iron, the boats were wood."
